St. Augustine is a city in the U.S. state of Florida, having been founded by the Spanish in 1565.[1]
History
In 1773, the Colonial Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton completed a number of privateering contracts to reduce the risk to ships on the shipping lane to St. Augustine. These included sinking British vessels,[2] such as the Saint James,[3] and protecting the trading frigate Henderson.[4]
