The Spiked Axe

The Spiked Axe was a type of battleaxe in the 5th century BCE Greece. Named for the numerous, distinct spikes at its head, the axe was both dreadful to see and deadly to experience.

During the Peloponnesian War, the axe was a common sight both on the battlefields as well as in the inventories of blacksmiths.[1]

These are both the recycled model of Nebuchadnezzar's Wrath, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins, which itself was based on the Luristan bronze spiked axehead.
