Speusippos (Greek: Σπεύσιππο; c. 408 BCE – c. 339 BCE}} was an Athenian philosophy and the nephew of Plato.
Speusippos enrolled in the Academy established by his uncle, aiding him in his research programs. In it, he conceived a model of the physical universe that involved geometric figures. At some point, Speusippos eventually became the head of the academy.[1]
