The sperm whale (Physeter macrocephalus) is a species of toothed whale and an aquatic mammal.
Sperm whales could be found worldwide in most seas, migrating seasonally. They could also be found in the Mediterranean Sea at the times of ancient Greece, sometimes jumping out of the water.[1]
Pirate Edward Kenway encountered a white sperm whale fighting a giant squid near the wreck of the Antocha. Edward also encountered several other white sperm whales, which he hunted for their rare skin.[2]
