The Spartan Belt was a type of belt mainly used by Spartan soldiers during the 5th century BCE.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra was awarded this belt from the Spartan agoge master Iatrokles, after helping him look for two lost recruits who disappeared mysteriously from their overnight camp.[1]
