The Sophia Project was an Abstergo project that studied the information imprinted onto living human cells. Abstergo scientists scrutinized the way this information was passed on biologically from one vessel to another. Through an analysis of the cells' contents, and its impact on the progression of human development, Abstergo Industries attempted to grasp a better understanding of human physiology.
The Abstergo scientists working on the project aimed to manipulate this process and thus, use it for future disease control and prevention measures.
