Armand Bouchart was the new Grand Master of the Templars after Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad killed the former Grand Master, Robert de Sable. He bought the island Cyprus from Richard the Lionheart after he captured it from Isaac Comnenus. Here, he found a sacred archive and shipped out all artifacts that were hidden there. After all artifacts were shipped out, Altaïr confronted Armand in the archive and killed him.
