The Slaughtered Calf Tavern was a tavern in Amiens, France.
History[edit | edit source]
In 887, the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir travelled to the tavern in search of Queen Richardis after learning of her potential danger from the Count of Paris, Odo. Upon arriving at the tavern, Eivor found the Queen missing with Odo's guards who were sent to protect Richardis killed. After investigating the lower and upper levels for clues of the Queen's whereabouts, Eivor spoke to a resident who eavesdropped on a conversation between Richardis and Charles' son Bernard, which directed Eivor to a nearby monastery to find out more.[1]
