Simon Girty (1741 – 1818) was an American-born Irish frontiersman and soldier from Pennsylvania who served as liason between the British and their Indian allies during the American Revolutionary War.
A well established frontiersman and trapper, Simon was a member of the New England Hunting Society, a formalized society of hunters that were based around the Frontier countryside in British America.[1]
