Shalim was Armand Bouchart's second-in-command. He was a son of Moloch and the twin brother of Shahar (a fact that Altaïr didn't know until the very confrontation with the twins). Shalim is a young nobleman who is identical in appearance and dress to his brother Shahar. He is known for his rude, violent behavior, and his appetite for women and wine.
After Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad found out about his activities and spied on him, he infiltrated his castle. Here, he was confronted by Shalim and, to Altaïr's surprise, his twin, Shahar. However, Altaïr managed to kill both of them.
