Shaban Jafari, a.k.a. Shaban Beemokh ("Brainless"), was a significant figure in Iranian contemporary history. He led his men against opponents of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, most notably during the 1953 coup d'état orchestrated by the Central Intelligence Agency. He was a Templar agent sent by Abstergo Industries to Iran to help the Shah take absolute power.
