This Palazzo used to be the Home of Emilio Babarigo, The Merchant King of Venice. It is designed in the classic Venetian Gothic style - while appearing quite heavy and solemn it is actually very light and airy. The Thieves Guild have now gained control of it. After Memory Sequence 7 up to three groups of thieves can be found with Antonio's guild claiming it as their second home.

Thieves on Ponte Rialto

The San Polo District is a district in Venice. The District is also home of the Venetian Thieves Guild, and Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari.

Rialto Bridge, or Ponte Rialto, is one of San Marco's famous Landmarks. The Bridge has a Glyph.

The Frari is also a Templar Lair, and stands on Campo Dei Frari

Involvement in Assassin's Creed II

After arriving from Romagna on the ferry, Leonardo da Vinci and Ezio are welcomed by Alvise and are given a quick tour of San Polo. Ezio, being well known for making 'friends' very quickly, finds a small band of Thieves try to scale Emilio Barbarigo's Palazzo, but resulting in the Thieves Leader, Rosa, being shot in the leg by an arrow. Whilst Leonardo da Vinci makes his workshop in Castello, Ezio meets Antonio de Magianis, Leader of the Venetian Thieves Guild, and learns about Emilio Barbarigo. Ezio begins helping the Guild, and learns Rosa's Climb Leap. All in all, it ends with Emilio's Assassination by Ezio.
