Salvador Isabelino del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Allende Gossens (Spanish pronunciation: [salβaˈðoɾ aˈʝende ˈɣosens]; 26 June 1908 – 11 September 1973) was a Chilean medic and is generally considered the first democratically elected Marxist to become president of Chile.

Assassin's Creed:Brotherhood

The coup was masterminded by Henry Kissinger. Allende was targeted because he was too popular with the people, which was at opposition with the Templar goal to create a dependent worker class.
