Gian Giacomo Caprotti, commonly known as Salaì, was Leonardo da Vinci's most famous apprentice and most likely his lover.

He was met by Ezio Auditore da Firenze while gambling in a tavern which resulted in both of them being involved in a fight with a group of Hermeticists.
