The Ruined Temple of Apollo was a former temple of the god Apollo located in the Occupied Forest of Tripodiskos in Megaris, Greece.
Though Apollo was one of the most revered deities in Megaris, this temple dedicated to the god was made of weak clay bricks, which subsequently crumbled. Bandits had claimed the ruins by the Peloponnesian War, when it was infiltrated and ransacked by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
