Rocío Espín Piñar is a Spanish freelance illustrator specializing in architectural recreations.

Biography

Early life

As a child, Rocío would study tour guides and liked the recreations of ancient buildings in them. She studied architecture at university for 9 years and later was employed as an architect. In 2008 however, due to the construction recession Rocío lost her job. Her architectural background helped her pursue art.[1]

Assassin's Creed

In 2019, Rocío was commissioned to draw illustrations for the then-upcoming Assassin's Creed: Atlas. Together with reference book author Guillaume Delalande, the Atlas was released in France on 27 November 2019.[2] In December, Rocío shared some of her illustrations in the Atlas via her ArtStation page.[3]
