Robert Guiscard (c. 1015 – 17 July 1085) was a Norman adventurer during the 11th century, who played an important part in the Norman conquest of southern Italy. In 1084, Normans under Guiscard sacked Rome. In 2012, Abstergo Industries added a mnemonic set to Project Legacy themed around many different "Sacks of Rome" and added Guiscard to it to represent the 410 event, despite the fact that it happened 600 years before he was born and so was impossible for him to have participated in it.[1]
