The Ritualistic Xiphos was a type of double-edged sword from Ancient Greece.
During the 5th century BCE, the xiphos was often used in hedonistic rituals conducted by cultists of Dionysos. The sword was also popular among mercenaries who fought for either Athens and Sparta during the Peloponnesian War. With sufficient funds and resources, users could upgrade the sword to different tiers, increasing its attack and lethality against opponents while also displaying finer craftsmanship. [1]
