The Recruiter's Chest Guard was a chest guard worn by Bubares of the Order of Hunters branch of the Order of the Ancients in Makedonia around 429 BCE.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra discovered and hunted down Bubares, facing him in battle. Following his defeat, Kassandra claimed the chest guard.[1]
