Rebecca Towne Nurse (3 March 1621 – 29 July 1692) was a woman executed during the Salem witch trials.
Although Nurse was pious and popular among many in Salem, she had a lengthy feud with the Putnam family and was against the appointment of Samuel Parris as the village minister.
