The Pythagorean Vault was a comparitively small chamber constructed by Those Who Came Before and later incorporated into the Temple of Pythagoras. The chamber was largely hollow, save for a small pedestal located in the center of the main chamber on a raised base.
In 1506, the Vault was visited by Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Leonardo da Vinci during their exploration of the Pythagorean temple.
Inside, they were confronted by a mysterious sequence of numbers and letters: 43, 39, 19, N, 75, 27, 42, W. Though these meant absolutely nothing to Leonardo, a modern audience would recognize them as coordinates, and Ezio realized that they were yet more "words... ...not meant for [him]" - a message similar to the one he received from Minerva for "Desmond". - This is the only vault, so far, to not feature one of Those Who Came Before.
- The numbers revealed in the vault are latitude and longitude located in Turin, New York - a strange dark spot.
