Prasinos Outpost was a Roman fort situated in the Green Mountains region of Cyrenaica. During the mid-1st century BCE, the fort's overseer was the centurion Brutus Severus.

In 47 BCE, General Agrippa ordered Brutus Severus to try and hinder the rebels in the area, by crucifying their caught leader, Apate. Before they could do so, however, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa saved the woman; she had been his son, Khemu's friend, and they very briefly reminisced about him. Apate told Bayek about Brutus Severus, and Bayek promised to bring an end to the Roman. Apate promised him the help of the freedom fighters, and with their help, Bayek was able to infiltrate the camp and kill the centurion.[1]
