Piye (died 714 BCE) was an ancient Kushite king and the founder of the twenty-fifth Dynasty of Egypt.
He oversaw constructions at Jebel Barkal and rewarded each of his Nubian generals with a certain type of bow for every victorious campaign.[1] He was succeeded by his son Shabataka.[2]
