The Pirate's Blade was a short blade commonly favored by the pirates of the 5th century BCE Greece.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra received the blade as a reward after helping Xenia's Steward eliminate several ships belonging to Sparta, Athens, and rival pirates around Keos.[1]

Behind the scenes
The Pirate's Blade, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as the commonly found Swift Dagger, another weapon in the same game. These are both the recycled model of the Scissor Blades, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
