Pietro Bembo (20 May 1470 - January 1547) was an Italian scholar, poet, cardinal and an Assassin present in Rome during the Liberation of Rome. He and Baldassare Castiglione were in charge of the Assassin hideout on Tiber Island while Machiavelli was away. Ezio remarked that they were very reliable Assassins and valuable additions to the Brotherhood, because both of them had connections with the Borgia.
