The Phalangite Shield was a lightweight shield which belonged to a high-ranking general of the Macedonian army.[1] It was found in Egypt during the 1st century BCE.

Trivia
- While the description says the shield is Macedonian, its design is very similar to that of the Wandsworth Shield from Celtic England.[2]
