The Republic of Peru is a country in South America that borders Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia and the Pacific Ocean.
Originally, the country was a colony of Spain, founded by Spanish conqueror Francisco Pizarro during the Age of Discovery, who was killed by the Assassins in 1541.[1] However, Peru consolidated its independence in 1824.
