The Perseids was a group of the seven sons and two daughters of Andromeda and Perseus, born in Mycenae in Greek mythology.

History

During the Peloponnesian War the misthios Kassandra was asked by Damia to tell the story of Perseus to her children Danae and Kristos and their friends. Kassandra did as asked, mentioning the Perseids as well.[1]
