Perikles' Armor was a breastplate in the possession of Perikles in the 5th century BCE Greece. Though he favored diplomacy over war, he kept the piece of armor in order to give it to a champion worthy of his trust.
In 429 BCE, while the plague was ravaging Athens, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found the breastplate following Perikles' demise at the hands of Deimos.[1]
