Pope Paul II (Latin: Paulus II; 1417 – 1471), born Pietro Barbo, was Pope from 1464 to his death.

Paul II ruled during the early Renaissance. As such, his role as a powerful figure was noted by the Assassin Shaun Hastings in 2012, when the latter's fellow Assassin Desmond Miles relived the memories of Ezio Auditore da Firenze, a contemporary of Paul.
