The Sinan Pasha Mosque was a large mosque located in the poor district of Damascus during the Third Crusade.
Trivia
- Even though the mosque is called Sinan Pasha Mosque in Assassin's Creed, this is historically incorrect. The mosque was built in 1590 during Damascus' Ottoman era and its in-game appearance greatly differs from the real look of the mosque. However, the Mosque of Basal used to be located in the same place prior to the construction of the Sinan Pasha Mosque. The mosque shown in Assassin's Creed is therefore most likely supposed to be the Mosque of Basal, only with its modern name.
- A view point is located atop the mosque's minaret.
