Pactyas, alternatively Pactyes, also known as The Huntsman, was a Lydian general who defected to the Persian emperor Cyrus the Great. He was a member of the Order of the Ancients.
Prior his capture, Pactyas took refuge in a sanctuary of Athena on the Greek island of Chios.
