The Ouroboros Shield was a light shield inspired by Jörmungandr, the monstrous world-encircling snake from Norse mythology.

Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved Eivor Varinsdottir's memories, modified her Animus and included this shield as part of the shieldmaiden's armory.[1]
