An Orb of Hades was a piece of Isu technology found in the simulation of Tartaros.
Named after the god of the underworld, Hades, these orbs were red balls of light floating in mid air.[1]
These orbs were similar in use to Torches of Hypnos. When shot, the orb gave off a damaging burst of energy, resulting in damage to all individuals in the immediate area. Every orb had two charges, and were destroyed upon using both.[1] Unlike the Torches of Hypnos, the Orbs of Hades drained health from Kassandra when she got too close.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra encountered and destroyed numerous Orbs of Hades during her travels in Tartaros.[1]
