An Orb of Hades was a piece of Isu technology found in the simulation of Tartaros.
Named after the god of the underworld, Hades, these orbs were red balls of light floating in mid air.[1]
These orbs were similar in use to Torches of Hypnos. When shot, the orb gave off a damaging burst of energy, resulting in damage to all individuals in the immediate area. Every orb had two charges, and were destroyed upon using both.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra encountered and destroyed numerous Orbs of Hades during her travels in Tartaros.[1]
