Olynthos Fortress was a military fort situated southwest of Amphipolis in Makedonia, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, the fort was infiltrated by the Spartan misthios, Kassandra, who recovered a spear in a chest which allegedly belonged to the Greek hero, Achilles.[1]
