The Northern Treasury of the World (天下北库) was one of the vaults erected by ancient Chinese assassins who predate the foundation of the Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins. Located in Ink Village in the Taihang Mountains within Hebei Circuit, the vault contained a vast amount of money, silk, weapons and armors accumulated for many centuries.

Artifacts kept in the vault included the famous dagger used by Zhuan Zhu to assassinate King Liao of Wu in 515 BCE, a spear that allegedly belonged to Wei Yu, the assassin of Qin Shi Huang in 221 BCE, as well as a set of armor.[1]

By 756, Pei Min, a former Tang general, served as the guardian of the vault.[1]
