Editors should write naturally rather than apply the same formula all the time. Also Kassandra declined to identify as Spartan at this point in the story according to the novel. |

Nikolaos' Sword was a sword which belonged to Nikolaos, a Spartan general who lived during the 5th century BCE.
In 431 BCE, the sword was claimed by Nikolaos' stepdaughter Kassandra after she confronted him atop a hill in Megaris following Sparta's victory over Athens in the region.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
Nikolaos' Sword strongly resembles the swords used by the Spartans in the 2006 film 300. In addition to this, the game files and concept art of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey call the sword 'Leonidas Sword', suggesting the sword originally belonged to King Leonidas I of Sparta.
