The Niflheim Armor was a piece of armor inspired by the cold realm of Niflheim in Norse mythology. It was said to be able to protect the wearer against unspeakable horrors in the land of the dead.

During the Viking expansion into England, the armor was made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories in 2020.[1]
