Nergüi (1212 – 1279) was a member of the Mongolian Brotherhood of Assassins. Captured as an Apprentice, he was tortured while imprisoned, leaving his face permanently scarred. Nergüi was eventually rescued by Qulan Gal and Darim Ibn-La'Ahad when the two assassinated Genghis Khan.
Nergüi would go on to be an effective and influential member of the Mongolian Assassins. His greatest achievement was the assassination of Hülegü Khan, in retribution for Hülegü's sacking of Masyaf and the destruction of the Levantine Assassins.
