The boat cannon is a new ballistic gameplay sequence appearing in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. It is a device (probably built by Leonardo da Vinci) similar to a regular cannon, which projects fire balls in different directions in order to cause wide-ranged damage. The cannon is placed on a small boat

so that it can be driven throughout Tiber River among other boats, and can be used to destroy Templar battleships. It appears to be mounted on a widened gondola with stabilizers. It is currently unknown if it can be used more than once in the game. However, according to the game's achievements, the naval cannon will be destroyed.
