Mount Ainos is a mountain located on the Greek island of Kephallonia.
Sometime before 431 BCE, a monumental statue featuring Zeus was set on top of the mountain.
In around 431 BCE, Markos, a friend of the Spartan misthios Kassandra, owned a vineyard in the southern slopes of the mountain. On the other side of the mountain was the Aggalaki Cave, which had been taken over by wolves.[1]
