The Monument of Hippolytos

The Monument of Hippolytos was a small shrine dedicated to Hippolytos, the son of Theseus, located on the southern slopes of Athens' acropolis, beside the Temple of Themis.

During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the location.[1]
