Misbah was a merchant living in Damascus in the 12th century. In 1190, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad interrogated Misbah to find out about Tamir's location. During this, Altaïr left him hanging on a rope, promising to aid him in getting down in return for information on Tamir. However, after Misbah relented, Altaïr left Misbah dangling, to a fate unknown.
