The Militia Helmet was a style of helmet used commonly in ancient Greece, particularly by local militia.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra was awarded such a helmet after investigated the Olympic gymnasium in Thasos mentioned by Mikkos.[1]
