Biography

Early career

Michael Atiyeh began his professional career at Twilight Graphics in Syracuse, working as a colorist and studio manager. After a few years, he began working as a freelance artist. In 1999, he was recruited by Cross Generation Comics and he stayed there until December 2003, when he left CrossGen to pursue work as a freelance artist once again. Since then Michael has been working on a variety of projects for Dark Horse Comics (such as Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Tomb Raider) and DC Comics.[1]

Assassin's Creed

On 12 July 2020, after the UbiForward event showcasing the then-upcoming Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, the next title in the Assassin's Creed series, Atiyeh was announced to be coloring Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Song of Glory, which would serve as an official prequel comic to the game. Atiyeh worked with writer Cavan Scott and artist Martín Túnica.[2]
