Angelina Ceresa (died 1500) was a native of the Italian town Monteriggioni during the late 15th century and an acquaintance of Claudia Auditore.
Biography
Auditore family party
On January 1, 1500, Angelina enlisted the help of Claudia's older brother, the Assassin Ezio Auditore to carry a large crate of flowers from the lower town up to the Villa Auditore for Claudia's birthday party.[1]
However, she did not know of his identity until their arrival, and realized her mistake of telling Ezio of his sister's party. She promised to earn Ezio's silence, but only on one condition: that Ezio must "wait until tomorrow." Ezio begrudgingly accepted her terms, and Angelina resumed her plans for the party.[1]
Death
The Templar attack on Monteriggioni the next day, however, prevented the party from taking place, and as Ezio rode to the outer walls to defend the town, he saw Angelina crying outside the remains of her destroyed home. Later during the fighting, she was killed and her head stuck upon the pike of a Borgia soldier's halberd, much to Ezio's dismay.[2]
