Meketre was an Egyptian man living in Kanopos Nome during the 1st century BCE.
Biography
Meketre became the protector of Jarha's farm and family, chasing away aggressive animals or fighting bandits who harassed them. However, in 48 BCE, the group of bandits knowns as the Hungry Great Ones raided Jarha's farm and captured Meketre in the process, taking him to their camp.[1]
A while later, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa helped Jarha and his aunt, and due to their pleas, found and freed Meketre. Together, the two men hunted down and killed members of the Hungry Great Ones, including their leader, Fat Homer.[1]
