Mieri met her brother Batr at the lake north of Gnafandi Keep as he told her about him being "robbed" by a fish. They began to argue as she criticized his judgment for letting a fish have his belongings. Luckily for them, the Æsir lord Havi passed by and offered to help the siblings with their problem.
