The Medici Tower (French: Tour Médicis) is the last remnant of a royal palace in Paris built by Catherine de' Medici, wife of Henry II of France and Queen of France.
Interested in predicting the future and a patron of the seer Nostradamus, Catherine allowed the astrologer Cosimo Ruggieri to use the tower to observe the sky from the iron enclosure on top.
